Reformate

Reformate refers to an aromatic rich gasoline blendstock that is produced when a refinery reformer production unit processes naphtha fractionated from crude oil. Benzene is normally extracted from the reformate while the balance of aromatics are either further processed to extract xylenes and/or toluene or blended into gasoline.
