Acrylic Acid - Crude

Crude acrylic acid is produced through catalytic oxidation of propylene via acrolein. It is predominantly used as a raw material for the production of glacial (or concentrated) acrylic acid, acrylate esters, and SAPs. Demand into glacial acrylic acid (GAA) has grown strongly, driven by demand for SAPs which is predominantly used in baby diapers, adult incontinence products, and feminine hygiene products.
