Aniline

Aniline is the simplest aromatic amine. Aniline is produced mainly from nitrating benzene with nitric acid and sulfuric acid, then hydrogenating the resulting nitrobenzene to yield Aniline. The predominant use for Aniline is to produce methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) for use in polyurethane.
