Crude C4s (contained Butadiene)

Crude C4s are produced as a byproduct of steam cracker ethylene production. The stream contains a mixture of chemicals each containing four carbon atoms. Nearly all butadiene supply globally is extracted from crude C4 streams. Other components of crude C4 streams are either extracted for chemical use of converted to gasoline blenstocks such as alkylate and MTBE.
