Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Recycled

Polyethylene terephthalate (commonly referred to as PET or polyester) is the common chemical name for the polymer used to make polyester fibers, PET packaging resins, and PET films. “Recycled” refers to the grade of PET having already been used in consumer goods and is being recycled for reuse. Water and soft drink bottles made from PET are easily recycled, mostly into PET fibers.
