After his studies he joined Royal DSM, a Life Science and Material Science company and made his career in R&D and Innovation management with a focus on sustainable value creation. After having joined the Bolsius Group Reinier has moved to TNO where he was appointed as a Principal Consultant Industrial Transformation. Currently, he is CTO and co-founder of Blue Circle Olefins, a start-up focusing on the production and commercialization of circular olefins in Europe.

With a dedicated career spanning more than 40 years in the tank storage industry, Peter brings a wealth of commercial expertise and hands-on experience. After studying Nautical Science and Business Administration, Diego joined the AP Moller Maersk Group in 2000. Over the course of his career, he has held multiple senior leadership positions within the company, including Managing Director of Maersk Logistics in Morocco, Commercial Director for Hong Kong and South China, CEO for Central Mediterranean, CEO for France, Iberia & Maghreb, and President for Latin America.

Diego has been involved in the development of C2X since its inception as a project within Maersk, and in October 2023 he assumed his current role as a member of the Global Executive Committee of C2X.

C2X was established by AP Moller Holding and AP Moller Maersk with the goal of accelerating the availability of green methanol at scale through the development and operation of production plants and distribution networks in strategic locations across multiple continents. Its current shareholders also include Eneos, Japan’s largest energy company. Diego has completed executive education programs at IESE and IMD. In addition to his responsibilities at C2X, he serves on the Boards of Armas Trasmediterránea and Bergé Logistics.

Reginald Fubara

Reginald Fubara is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HyOrc Corporation, a clean energy technology company focused on waste-to-methanol production, hydrogen and natural gas power generation, and industrial decarbonization solutions.

Over the past two decades, Reginald has been involved in the development, financing, construction, and commercialization of renewable energy projects across international markets, including East Africa and Southeast Asia. He played a leading role in bringing 16 modular geothermal power plants from concept through construction into commercial operation, providing extensive experience in scaling innovative energy technologies into real-world infrastructure projects.

Under his leadership, HyOrc has developed proprietary waste gasification and external combustion technologies capable of converting municipal waste, RDF, biomass, and other feedstocks into synthesis gas, green methanol, hydrogen-based power, and industrial heat. Dr. Xin Mu

Dr. Xin Mu holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS in 2008. She has over 17 years of professional experience, mainly focused on methanol-to-olefins (DMTO) technology industrialization, commercialization and licensing, with deep expertise in the process, catalysts, and the full olefin industry value chain.

Dr. Xin Mu and her team are now actively engaging in expanding global markets. With her extensive cross-cultural communication experience, she has been involved herself in bridging scientific innovation with large-scale industrial deployment, supporting the global energy transition.

Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been dedicated to research and development (R&D) of CTO and MTO process for more than 40 years since the 1980s, and has achieved a series of innovations and inventions in reaction mechanisms, catalyst synthesis, process engineering, and industrialization, which ultimately have led to the development of a series of commercial DMTO technologies for massive production of light olefins from nonoil resources. Till now, there have been more than 30 licensing DMTO plants, 20 of which are now in commercial operation. The technology has diversified olefin feedstocks, supporting an annual production of over 10 million tons of olefin products and generating substantial industrial value.

Luiz Piauhylino Monteiro Filho is a Brazilian and Portuguese lawyer and entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience in the energy sector, focused on the development of renewable methanol projects along the Brazil-Europe corridor. As Chief Executive Officer of H2 Verde Ltda., Brazil and Portugal, he is structuring the origination, certification, and commercialisation of biomethanol and e-methanol for the European maritime fuels market under FuelEU Maritime, EU ETS, RED III, and ISCC EU frameworks, with strategic alignment to the IMO Net-Zero Framework adopted in 2025. He combines international legal training (LL.M., The George Washington University) with hands-on experience in international commodities trading (Ethanol) and regulatory advocacy.
