Workshop: Introduction to the Global Plastics Business and Plastics Transition to Circularity
This full-day workshop is designed for those new to the polyolefins business, as well as experienced professionals wishing to expand and update their knowledge and understanding of how the latest “hot topic” issues are driving change along the entire polyolefins value chain — from feedstocks through to the basic olefins and plastics. The workshop is designed to be of interest and value to both technical and commercially oriented-participants.
Workshop participants will gain an understanding of polyolefins fundamentals and market conditions including but not limited to, an overview of the building blocks of energy, feedstocks and monomers, analysis of plastics value chains, production processes, conversion processes, price mechanisms, cost curves, supply/demand fundamentals, and price forecasting methodologies – all while discussing the transition of the plastics industry. In addition to fundamentals and market conditions, participants will hear a focus on plastics circularity including, linear vs. circular concepts, recycling technologies, renewables/biobased plastics, regulations, policies and the changing stakeholder landscape.
Join this workshop to provide you and your company an advantage in navigating the intricacies and volatility of the polyolefins industry.
All workshop participants will receive:
- Interactive instructor lead training by industry experts
- Digital PDF of workshop content
- Networking lunch, breaks and Welcome Reception
