Monday, September 9
Expand All Topics Close All Topics

Managing risk is an increasingly important part of succeeding in the petrochemical industry. Forward curves are becoming common for major commodities. Understanding how to use benchmarks to trade forward markets, and how to use price forecasts to develop a risk management strategy, are two critical components to optimizing your business performance. This program will explore why benchmarks exist, how they operate, and how they are different from forecasts. We will also explore the role of risk management in an increasingly compliant-conscious world, the types of risk petrochemical markets face, and how to use tools for risk management for successful planning in real world applications.
